What does 1 gross cubic meter of boxes look like?

**These are examples of the number of commonly available moving cartons that could fit into a 1 cubic meter space; you do not have to use the carton sizes listed below.

**One cubic METER = 35 cubic FEET

**Your boxes will be stacked onto a 40x48 inch wooden pallet and the longest, widest, and highest points of the stack will be multiplied to calculate your final volume. For example a 40 x 50 x 50 inch stack would equal 1.65 gross cubic meters/58 gross cubic feet.

A Medium size box .......18 x 18 x 16 inches

12 ‘medium’ boxes = ..One gross cubic meter


Book Box 16 x 12 x 12 inches

18 ‘book’ boxes = ..One gross cubic meter



A large Box" 18 x 18 x 24 inches

6 ‘large’ boxes = ..One gross cubic meter
