Top rate service. We received our three U-Crate-100s--shipped from San Francisco to Lisbon via Rotterdam--in about 2.5 months. We were very nervous going in, but they were a pleasure to work with and very professional every step of the way. There were no hidden fees or surprise costs; the amount we signed on for at the beginning was the total amount we paid. And the household items that we entrusted to their care came through the process without a scratch. A thousand thanks to John, Rebecca, and James!

We packed our crate in New Mexico and UPakWeShip shipped it to Spain without a hitch. No exaggeration - the move was seamless. If we got curious about where the crate was we sent an e-mail to one of our contacts, all of whom responded quickly and professionally. We asked for a delivery date on or after July 21; the crate was delivered to our doorstep on July 27. The final cost matched the original estimate. OK, I forgot. There was one hiccup. The delivery person who called to confirm the delivery date didn't speak English, and I didn't speak Spanish. James Read contacted the shipper and translated between us. Absolutely perfect. We used Upakweship to have some of our belongings moved to Italy. The prices were amazing! Rebecca Bose was an wonderful help. It was very intimidating to box up everything you own and ship it around the plant. She helped us many times. I true appreciate everything Rebecca did for us. Our house is now our home with some of our belongings in it.

I moved from Aspen, Colorado to Dijon, France with the 100 container. Overall experience was excellent. That said, an international move is complicated and you should expect to experience stress, this has nothing to do with UPakWeShip as a company. The packing and inventory documentation process is extremely time consuming - many days - but I completed unpacking it to my home in about two hours. I had previously read some of the negative reviews before selecting Upak, but they became my clear first choice. My #1 priority was that my valuables were not damaged. I unpacked last week in Dijon, and my bicycles, artwork, culinary tools, stereo etc. were completely OK. But I listened to UPak very carefully about how to pack correctly - suggest everyone follow this to the letter. There's a loose guideline about shrink wrapping the entire container to add to the moisture protection, and increase the rigidity of the box which I recommend. I ran a couple practice packing trials indoors, and marked each box with a 3-d naming convention, L1= layer one, L1-12 is at the 12 o'clock position etc. Bottom layer was the heaviest, top the lightest. I ended up with 32 objects on the inventory list. If you have bicycles, break them down completely - forks, wheels, handlebars, derailleurs, fenders. If you pack these components properly, you will save a huge amount of space vs. a bike box. Also for my own peace of mind a taped a new Airtag in an inconspicuous area for my own peace of mind. As the container moved across the USA, and from Antwerp to Dijon, I could always confirm its location (except at sea obviously). One of the attached photos is container arrival in Dijon. Doesn't look too bad after traveling 7,000 miles!
